5" and 6" Gutters
There are two sizes of gutter available. 5" and 6".
Gutter Flo recommends 6" gutters for any roof exceeding a 6/12 pitch.
There are two sizes of downspouts available. 2" x 3" and 3' x 4". The 2" x 3" downspouts are installed with the 5" gutter, and the 3" x 4" downspouts are installed with the 6" gutter.
Miters, Outlets and Endcaps
All miters, outlets and endcaps are sealed with industrial strength caulk to insure a leak proof system.
Downspout Straps
Downspouts are fastened every 40 feet.
Spike and Ferrule Method
Gutter Flo spikes every 24" to 32" depending upon how far the rafters are apart and the size of the gutter board. Gutter Flo makes sure the job is structurally sound by using steel double hot-dipped, zinc-coated spikes with a barbed anchor-down shank for maximum holding power in comparison to cheap aluminum spikes or the cosmetic hidden hangers.
Gutter Apron
When shingles are hanging over gutter board less than 1" or if the shingle ends are split or cracked. Gutter Flo recommends that a gutter apron be installed to insure the rain gets into the gutter.
Leaf Guard
Choose Gutter Flo's Leaf Guard to reduce the frequency and improve ease of the gutter cleaning process. It makes good sense! Strong enough to support squirrels and limbs.
